Self Love Through the Arts


International Makeup Artist and Beauty Educator Wabanoonkwe

Join Wabanoonkwe for a special 2-hour session at the Indigenous Women’s Symposium. This unique class is specifically designed for youth and women entitled "Self Love through the Arts".  This class is an inspirational empowerment program that focuses on enhancing natural beauty while Wabanoonkwe shares her own story which has shaped her journey and identity as an Indigenous woman.

Seats are $30 (per person) and are not included in the registration. A sign-up sheet is available at Wabanoonkwe's vendor booth. Limited availability,  payment in cash is required to secure your seat. 

More About Wabanoonkwe

Wabanoonkwe originates from a small Indian Reservation in Northwestern Ontario Canada, Iskatewizaagegan #39 & #40, formerly known as Shoal Lake. Raised by a single mother, living in low income status, Wabanoonkwe started her entrepreneurial journey early. 

Wabanoonkwe started as a passionate artist, turned Make-Up Artist who mastered her skills through top of the line training at Paul Mitchell Academy and M.A.C cosmetics. With her completion of Xtreme Lash Certification and Ellabana Certification Wabanoonkwe has now become an Instructor.  

Her vision is to continuously evolve with the beauty and fashion industry making her the epitome of an Image Professional and a Beauty Educator.
